🌸 Miko Melts's journal

This track has such a moody, intense atmosphere that makes me feel like I'm right there on the field, fully immersed in the action. The visual aesthetic of this song is gritty and raw, with a sense of urgency and high stakes. I can imagine myself dressed in a sleek leather jacket, with my hair styled into voluminous spikes, embodying the edgy vibe of the track. I'd be standing on top of a crowded rooftop, overlooking a bustling cityscape, with the sun setting and casting long shadows. The outfits that come to mind when listening to this song are bold and daring, with sharp lines and bold patterns. Think leather jackets, ripped jeans, and statement accessories like chokers and studded bracelets. The setting would be a dark, moody bar or club, with dim lighting and smoke-filled air. The energy is electric, and the mood is one of rebellion and defiance.

🎛️ Solana Conejo's engineer notes

As I sit in the control room mixing and mastering DAJAI's track for "Gorman vs. Booker T. Washington (MyLVsports)", I can't help but be impressed by the delivery, flow, and cadence of his vocal performance. His voice sits perfectly in the mix, blending seamlessly with the production elements that are present throughout the track. From the doubles and ad-libs in the chorus to the stacks and layering in the verses, DAJAI's approach works technically. The use of different vocal effects, such as reverb and delay, add depth and dimension to his performance. The choice of gear used on this track was intentional, with each piece carefully selected to enhance the overall sound. A particular highlight is the use of the Neve 1073 preamp on DAJAI's vocal, which adds a warm and analog feel to his performance. The Urei 814 tube compressor used on the drums also contributes to the track's punchy and dynamic sound. Overall, the production elements in this track are top-notch, demonstrating DAJAI's attention to detail and mastery of his craft.

🎥 Mykina's BTS journal

In the control room, I watched as the director and crew meticulously set up for the shoot of the DAJAI track "Gorman vs. Booker T. Washington." The energy was palpable, with everyone focused on capturing the best possible footage. As the camera rolled, I noticed that the cast members were deeply immersed in their performances, fully embodying their characters as they acted out scenes from the track. The chemistry between the actors was evident, and it was fascinating to observe how each scene came together. One specific moment that stood out to me was when one of the actors had to deliver a particularly emotional line. You could see the intensity in their eyes, and it was clear that they were fully committed to their performance. It was a powerful reminder of the dedication and hard work that goes into making a track like this come to life.

📣 Coach — Film Room

Alright Stewart, let's take a look at this game from last week against Booker T. Washington. I've gotta say, you did some really good things out there on the field. But as always, we can't just ignore the areas where we need to make improvements. First off, your stance and footwork were spot on throughout the game. You showed great balance and control in your movements. However, I noticed that sometimes you were a little too hesitant in getting downhill and hitting the hole quickly. We've gotta work on that acceleration and explosion out of the backfield to make sure we're getting the most out of every play. Now let's talk about your pass protection. You did a decent job overall, but there were a few instances where you could have done a better job of sliding off the edge and picking up blitzes. We need to make sure we're always aware of our surroundings and ready to adjust to any changes in the defense. Overall, Stewart, you had a good game and I'm proud of you. But remember, there's always room for improvement. Let's keep grinding and get better every day.

📋 Scout Report

Daniel Stewart showcases impressive athleticism and versatility, playing both cornerback and running back at Bishop Gorman. Strengths include a solid pad level, quick acceleration out of cuts, and a strong understanding of ball security. One concern is recovery speed when changing direction or reacting to plays. Projection: Stewart has the physical tools to excel in either position at the next level, but further development in areas such as change of direction and refining his technique will be key for long-term success.

There's thousands of high school football teams across the country. Only one can be ranked number one. That's what Bishop Gorman faced tonight as the Gales hosted top-ranked Booker T. Washington. Two for T to field for the big-time national matchup, Gales and tornadoes. First quarter-actions and crazy plays in the sequence for Booker T. Washington. Tree on Harris looking down, field, this one off the hands of Jabari Butler, right to Gales on top in four catch and the first down. Couple plays later, this is what we call a clash of D1 prospects. Harris, tattooed by Almond Perry, stays up and eventually goes down, another first down on the plate. Later in the driver, late in the first quarter now, Harris dropping back, looking to the Yenzone, a Mar Parker. Makes the grab, stays in bounds for the seven yard touchdown. That gives it seven nothing lead for Booker T. And in the second, Gales looking to answer back, random cutting in, bootlegging outside and in the worst case scenario, interception by branded boy. Booker T with some great field position. Got her some great Gales defense and a big penalty. It's third and thirty-three. Harris has no choice but to go deep. Hopkins gets behind the defense. That's a thirty-five with our touchdown, Gagger. They double it up to take a fourteen to nothing lead. Now the offense needs to answer. And after a long ground and pound drive, Russell agrees, caps it off sixteen yard touchdown run. No extra point though. Gales still chose fourteen to six. Now, final moments of the half, Gales defense. Step in up, Chris Lally looked a sack. They go into the half, thrown it down by eight points. Now, tiny hand, didn't throw much after throwing that interception early on. Here in the third quarter, he's looking for redemption, bootlegging outside. Connection. Power is eight, Jones. Eight where a touchdown from number eight. No two point conversion on the play. From Gales, Joe, fourteen to twelve. Now, some more defense. Now, it's the offense cheering the defense on. Harris, pressured by the D looking down field, but dealing well with the other idea, why is Russell being intercepted and killing that drive? But after a bishop, Jordan, Fumber, in their own territory in the fourth quarter, here's Harris. You don't want to give this team extra scoring chances. He scrambles and scores from eleven yards out, and Booker 2 takes a twenty-one to twelve lead. Now, with the clock running, ticking away, and down nine, Bishop Gordon needs to go to the air. Cunningham, looking deep for Jones. Instead, it's intercepted by Nigel Bethel, the second. That helps seal the deal. Bishop Gordon holds its own in the big matchup, but falls in the end, twenty-eight to twelve. We had some turnovers, and when you're playing a team that caliber, you can't turn the ball over that many times and expect to win the game. So, you know, it is what it is. We've got to go to work. We've got to continue to get better. We'll do that, and we've got to get ready for the game next week. Next up for us, it's Run and Rebels time. We'll be at the first official practice Monday. Until then, help spread the word. My LV Sports, your top source for all your prep and UNOV video highlights.
