Just stumbled upon this track by @dajai and I'm feeling all kinds of emotions. The mood is dark and moody, with a slight touch of nostalgia. Visually, the atmosphere is intense and dramatic, almost like watching a movie scene.
Aesthetically, I would pair this song with an outfit that is edgy and rebellious, perhaps something leather or studded. As for the setting, it's easy to imagine being in a dark room with dim lighting and smoke floating around. This track really makes me want to let go and embrace my wild side.
🎛️ Solana Conejo's engineer notes
As an engineer, I was really impressed with the delivery and flow of DAJAI's track for "YouTube". The cadence of his voice was really on point, and he managed to keep up the energy throughout the entire song.
One thing that stood out to me in terms of production elements was the use of doubles and ad-libs. I think this added a lot of depth to the vocal and helped to create a more dynamic listening experience. The stacks were also really well done, adding a sense of fullness to the mix without overwhelming the listener.
From a technical standpoint, DAJAI's approach worked really well. He was able to balance his voice in the mix effectively, and I think he made some good choices with regards to gear and recording techniques. Overall, I was really pleased with how this track turned out, and I think it will be well-received by listeners.
🎥 Mykina's BTS journal
I stepped into the room where the HBU cast was gathered to shoot the music video for "Dajai". The energy in the room was electric as they prepared to film. The camera crew moved around with purpose, setting up shots and adjusting lighting. The cast members were engaged in last-minute discussions about their performances, their faces serious as they concentrated on their lines.
As I observed from just off-camera, I noticed that one of the actors was having a particularly difficult time getting his lines right. He stood alone, muttering to himself and fidgeting with his costume. Despite the tension in the room, there was also a sense of camaraderie as the cast members rallied around their friend, offering words of encouragement and support.
One specific moment that caught my attention was when the director called for a break. The cast members took this opportunity to mingle and socialize, with some of them forming small groups and engaging in lively conversations. Despite the pressure of the shoot, there was a palpable sense of joy and camaraderie among the group as they worked together to bring "Dajai" to life on screen.
