June 10th, 2023
Today I worked on mixing and mastering DAJAI's latest track for his upcoming EP. The delivery of the vocals was exceptional, with a great flow and cadence throughout the song. The vocal sits well in the mix, with enough space to breathe but also present enough to stand out.
I noticed that DAJAI used doubles and ad-libs effectively to add depth and texture to the vocal. Additionally, there were some nice stacks on certain lines that added a great dynamic element to the track.
From a technical perspective, DAJAI's approach works well in terms of delivering the right amount of energy and emotion throughout the song. The gear used in the recording process also played a significant role in achieving this effect.
The environment we recorded in was comfortable and conducive to creativity. The lighting was great for the vocalist, and the acoustics of the space were ideal for capturing the best possible performance. Overall, I'm pleased with how the track came together and excited to hear the final product.

I've been on set for hours, observing the HBU cast and crew as they bring to life this DAJAI track. The room is buzzing with energy, everyone focused on capturing the perfect shot. Off to the side, one of the producers is deep in conversation with a director, their voices low and intense.
The mood of the set is electric, everyone working together towards the same goal. The cast members are dressed in colorful costumes, adding a vibrant touch to the scene. In the middle of it all, the lead actor is caught mid-movement, his face contorted in an expression of pure joy and passion.
As I watch the scene unfold, one specific moment stands out to me. The camera captures the lead actor's eyes, filled with emotion as he sings along to the track. It's a small detail, but it adds so much depth to the performance and really brings the lyrics of the song to life.
