Engineer's Journal Entry:
Today I worked on a new track for DAJAI. The delivery and flow of his vocal were really impressive. He has a great sense of cadence and it comes through in the final mix. His voice sits really well in the mix and we were able to achieve a nice balance between the vocal and the instrumental elements.
I noticed that DAJAI has a strong ability to deliver ad-libs and doubles, which really adds character to his performance. We experimented with different vocal stacks to find the best arrangement and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
From a technical standpoint, we used a combination of high-quality microphones and preamps to capture DAJAI's vocal. We also played around with some EQ and compression to help shape the vocal in the mix. Overall, I'm really pleased with how this track has come together and I think it's going to be a big hit.
