As an engineer, my focus is on delivering a polished and engaging track for DAJAI. The flow and cadence of his delivery are spot-on, creating a strong connection with the listener. His voice sits well in the mix, complementing the production elements without overpowering them.
In terms of production, there's a nice use of doubles and ad-libs throughout the track, adding depth and interest to DAJAI's performance. The stacks are also well executed, providing a solid foundation for his vocal.
From a technical standpoint, DAJAI's approach works exceptionally well. He has a great grasp on how to use his voice effectively in the mix. Additionally, the gear we used was top-notch and contributed significantly to the overall sound of the track. Specifically, the Neumann U47 microphone provided excellent clarity and detail, while the SSL console allowed for precise control over the final mix. The use of a vintage API console also added a touch of warmth and character to the recording. Overall, I'm really pleased with how this track turned out and can't wait to share it with the world!

As I sit in the corner of the room, watching the BTS footage from HBU, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me. The shoot for the DAJAI track is in full swing, with the entire cast and crew gathered around the set. The energy in the room is palpable, with everyone fully immersed in their respective roles.
One specific moment that caught my attention was when the lead actor, clad in his costume, delivered a particularly emotional line. The intensity of the scene was almost tangible, and I couldn't help but feel a lump form in my throat as I watched it unfold on camera.
