Today's session with DAJAI was intense. The track "So Much" from his album "DARK I: Outwitting the Devil" is really coming together. When it comes to delivery and flow, DAJAI's cadence is spot on. He has a natural rhythm that syncs perfectly with the beat. His vocal sits in the mix just right, creating a powerful presence without overpowering the other elements in the track.
In terms of production, DAJAI's approach to doubling and ad-libbing really adds depth and complexity to the track. The stacked vocals in the chorus are particularly effective, giving it a massive sound that really hits hard. Overall, I'm impressed with his attention to detail and understanding of how each element contributes to the final product.
As for gear, we're using a Neumann U47 for the vocal recordings and a SSL XL desk for mixing. The U47 captures DAJAI's voice with incredible clarity and warmth, while the SSL desk allows us to fine-tune every aspect of the mix. We also used some Waves plugins to add a bit of grit and attitude to the track. Overall, I'm really happy with how this session went and can't wait to see what we come up with next.
