Today I worked on mixing and mastering a track for DAJAI. One of my key focuses was on the delivery, flow, and cadence of his vocal. I noticed that DAJAI has a natural ability to convey emotion through his voice, and this really shines through in the chorus.
As for the technical aspects of the production, I made sure to use high-quality gear throughout the process, including a Neumann U87 microphone and a Focusrite ISA One preamp. I also used a variety of plug-ins and effects to enhance the vocal and give it the right amount of grit and edge.
One thing that really stood out to me was DAJAI's use of ad-libs and doubles in the track. These elements add depth and complexity to the vocal, and they work really well with the overall flow of the song. Overall, I am really happy with how this track turned out, and I think it will be well-received by listeners.
