Working on the mix for "We Should" by Dajai was an interesting challenge. The delivery and flow of the vocals were on point; Dajai's cadence throughout the track really shines, and it's clear he put thought into his phrasing and timing.
From a technical standpoint, I had to focus on where his voice sits in the mix. The vocal is centered but with enough space for the other production elements. The background vocals and ad-libs are doubled up, creating a sense of depth and fullness to the track. There's a nice balance of reverb and delay effects used on the vocals, which helped to create a more dynamic sound.
Overall, Dajai's approach to production works well for this track. His attention to detail in the delivery and flow of the vocals, along with his use of effects, really brings the track to life. It was great working on this project and I can't wait to hear the final result.
