As an engineer, I was really impressed with DAJAI's delivery on this track. The flow and cadence were spot-on, and his voice sat perfectly in the mix. The production elements in the vocal were top-notch - there were some nice doubles and ad-libs that added a lot of depth to the track. One of my favorite things about DAJAI's approach was how well he used the gear we had available to him. We used a Neve 1073 preamp for the vocal, which gave it a really warm and punchy sound. The Kodak Type Beat beat was also really great - the type beats are always a classic choice for a track like this, and they worked really well with DAJAI's voice. Overall, I think we managed to create a really strong track that will appeal to a lot of people.
