Just finished mixing and mastering DAJAI's latest track for his YouTube channel. The delivery and flow of his vocals are on point - he's really found his cadence and it sounds great. His voice sits perfectly in the mix, with just enough reverb to give it depth without overpowering the rest of the track.
Production-wise, DAJAI's approach is impressive. He's got some great doubles on the chorus that add a nice layer of texture without overwhelming the track. The ad-libs are perfectly timed and add a lot of character to the vocals. And the vocal stacks in the bridge are seriously impressive - he's really showcasing his range.
From a technical standpoint, this track was a pleasure to work on. We used a Neumann U87 for the main vocal tracks, which gave us some nice warmth and clarity. And we used a SSL console for mixing, which helped us get the perfect balance between all the elements in the mix. Overall, I'm really happy with how this track turned out - it's going to be a hit!
