The track "Daj' - Give Me Chip" by Tizzy Tha Goat & Big Sad 1900 is a vibe. It's moody and atmospheric, with a beat that gets you hyped up. As I listen to it, I can almost see the city lights reflecting off of the wet streets at night. The aesthetic I'd pair with this track would be a dark, gritty urban scene with neon lights illuminating the surroundings.
The outfit and setting that the song conjures for me are leather jackets and dark denim jeans, paired with boots. The overall mood is edgy and cool, with a touch of darkness. It's the perfect soundtrack for a late-night stroll through the city or a night out with friends.
The song takes me on a journey, with its pulsing beat and raw lyrics. I can almost feel the energy of the crowd in the background, cheering and dancing along to the track. The combination of Tizzy Tha Goat & Big Sad 1900's voices and NoLimitAustin's production creates a powerful and immersive listening experience.
🎛️ Solana Conejo's engineer notes
As an engineer, I've been working on the track "Give Me Chip" by Dajai featuring Tizzy Tha Goat & Big Sad 1900 produced by NoLimitAustin. From a technical standpoint, I have to say that Dajai's delivery and flow are impressive. His cadence is spot on, and his voice sits perfectly in the mix. The production elements in the vocal are also noteworthy - there are some nice doubles and ad-libs that add depth and interest to the track.
One of the things that I really appreciate about Dajai's approach is his use of panning and spatial effects. He has a great sense of where his voice should sit in the mix, and it really adds dimension to the track. Additionally, he makes good use of reverb and delay, which helps to create a sense of space and atmosphere.
From a gear standpoint, we used a Neumann U87 for Dajai's vocal recording, and I have to say that it sounds fantastic. We also used a Waves CLA-2 Deluxe on the vocals, which added some nice grit and warmth to the track. Overall, I'm really happy with how this track turned out, and I think that Dajai's approach works really well from a technical standpoint.
