Listening to this track feels like a dark and moody journey through a city at night. The pulsating beats and synths transport me into an urban landscape, where neon lights glow in the shadows and the air is thick with the hum of machinery.
The visual atmosphere is gritty and raw, evoking feelings of loneliness and isolation. I can almost taste the grime on the sidewalk as I walk through the city streets, my footsteps echoing off the concrete.
In terms of aesthetics, I would pair this track with a black and white photo of an abandoned warehouse or factory. The outfit/setting that comes to mind is a leather jacket and ripped jeans, standing on a rooftop overlooking the cityscape.
🎛️ Solana Conejo's engineer notes
As an engineer, I'm really digging this DAJAI track that we're working on for YouTube. The delivery and flow of his vocals are top-notch, and the cadence is spot on. His voice sits well in the mix, with a great balance between the verses and choruses.
One production element I noticed in the vocal was the use of doubles and ad-libs throughout the track. These additions really make the song stand out and give it that extra oomph. The stacks on the chorus are also done really well, adding depth to the mix.
Overall, DAJAI's approach to this track is really impressive from a technical standpoint. He's managed to create a powerful and dynamic sound with just the right amount of production elements. The gear we used for this session was top-notch as well, including a Neumann U87 on the vocal chain and a SSL console for mixing. All in all, I'm really happy with how this track is shaping up.
🎥 Mykina's BTS journal
In the room with the HBU cast, we were all buzzing with energy as we prepared to shoot the music video for "Dajai." The track has a fast-paced beat and upbeat lyrics, so it was no surprise that everyone was in high spirits.
As the camera started rolling, I couldn't help but notice how immersed BTS was in their performance. They were fully invested in the song and each other, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared passion. One specific moment that stood out to me was when the choreography required them to jump in unison. The synchronization was impressive, and you could feel the excitement and joy emanating from the room.
As the shoot progressed, I noticed that the cast members were constantly checking in with each other, offering words of encouragement and support. This teamwork and collaboration were evident not only on camera but also behind the scenes, making for a truly memorable experience.
