Today was a productive day in the studio working on DAJAI's latest track for his upcoming YouTube release. The flow and delivery of the vocals were exceptional, with a strong sense of cadence that kept me engaged throughout the session. DAJAI's voice sits well in the mix, with just enough reverb to give it a sense of space without losing clarity or focus.
One notable production element in the vocal is the use of doubles and ad-libs, which add depth and interest to the track. Additionally, there are some subtle stacks in the background that provide a nice contrast to DAJAI's lead vocals. The gear used for this session was top-notch, including a Neumann U87 for capturing the vocal and a vintage API console for mixing.
Overall, I am very pleased with how this track is shaping up. DAJAI's approach to recording and producing his own material is both technically sound and creatively inspiring.
