As an engineer, I was really impressed with how smooth and well-delivered DAJAI's vocals were on this track. In terms of production elements, there were some really nice doubles and ad-libs that added depth and dimension to the vocal. The use of stacks was also effective in building up the choruses and creating a sense of fullness without overwhelming the mix. Overall, I think DAJAI's approach worked technically because he has a great sense of timing and pitch, and he knows how to use his voice effectively to create interesting and engaging vocal arrangements. In terms of gear, we used a Neumann U47 microphone for the main vocal, and we ran it through a Manley Massive Passive EQ. We also used a vintage Fairchild compressor to help shape the dynamics of the performance. The final mix was done on a Neve 8024 console, which helped add some warmth and character to the overall sound of the track.
