As an engineer, I was really impressed with the delivery and flow on this DAJAI track. His cadence is spot on, hitting all the right notes without sounding rushed or forced. The production elements in his vocal are also really impressive – there's some nice doubling going on that adds depth and dimension to the track, and a few ad-libs that add personality and character.
In terms of gear, we used a Neumann U87 for the main vocal, which gave us a nice, warm sound. We also used an AKG C12 for some of the doubling and ad-libs, which added a different texture to the mix. The overall sound is really full and rich, with the vocal sitting prominently in the mix.
From a technical standpoint, DAJAI's approach works really well. He has a natural ability to control his pitch and delivery, and he was able to nail each take with relative ease. His performance is so strong that we didn't need to do much editing – just a few minor tweaks here and there to clean up the vocal and add some polish to the mix. Overall, I'm really happy with how this track turned out.

I remember sitting in the corner of the room during the shoot for the Dajai track "YouTube". The energy was electric, with everyone on set buzzing with excitement. The cast, a mix of familiar faces and newcomers, were all dressed up in their costumes, ready to bring the lyrics of the song to life.
As I looked around the room, I noticed that some members of the cast were huddled together in the corner, whispering and laughing. Their camaraderie was palpable even from my position just off-camera. One specific moment that caught my attention was when one of the actors broke character to give a playful nudge to another member of the cast. The laughter that followed was infectious, adding to the overall joy and energy on set.
Despite the flurry of activity around me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at being a part of something so special. It was clear from everyone's enthusiasm that this was not just any shoot - it was a true celebration of creativity and collaboration.
