🌸 Miko Melts's journal

I'm feeling a mix of melancholy and intensity while listening to this track. The mood is dark yet captivating, with the piano and strings pulling me into their depths. Visually, I can imagine an abandoned city at night, the streetlights casting long shadows on the cobblestone streets. The aesthetic that comes to mind is grunge or gothic, with black lace and leather textures dominating the scene. The outfit/setting I would pair with this song is a pair of ripped jeans, a vintage band tee, and a pair of dark sunglasses, evoking a sense of rebellion and nonchalance despite the somber atmosphere.

As I sit down to work on this track for DAJAI, I notice that the lighting in the studio is set up perfectly for capturing his performance. The red script tattoo on his forehead adds a striking visual element to the overall look of the session. Listening through the headphones, I can hear that DAJAI's delivery and flow are on point. His cadence is spot on, and his voice sits comfortably in the mix without overpowering the rest of the track. The production elements in the vocal are top-notch - there are some doubles and ad-libs that add depth and texture to the performance. From a technical standpoint, DAJAI's approach works really well. He has a great sense of timing and pitch, which is evident in his performance. The gear we used for this session was top-notch - we used a Neumann U87 microphone for capturing the vocals, and it really brings out the nuances of DAJAI's voice. Overall, I'm really happy with how this track is shaping up, and I can't wait to see what the final product looks like.

🎥 Mykina's BTS journal

I watched as the HBU cast assembled in the room for the shoot of "Dajai". The energy was electric, with everyone buzzing around, getting into character and preparing their lines. On set, the director was giving last-minute instructions to the actors, while the camera crew was busy setting up their shots. As the track started playing on set, I noticed one specific moment that stood out. One of the actors, who was playing a particularly emotional scene, really blew me away with his performance. His emotions were so raw and real, it felt like he was actually living through those moments captured in the lyrics of the song. Off-camera, the rest of the cast and crew were all focused on the action happening on set. Some were taking notes, while others were adjusting their equipment to make sure they got the perfect shot. Despite the flurry of activity, there was a sense of camaraderie and teamwork that permeated the room. It was clear that everyone was invested in making this shoot as successful as possible.
