"Riding through the city on my bike, feeling that bassline rumbling under me. The sun is setting and the streets are empty except for a few stray dogs. I'm wearing my favorite leather jacket and black boots, with my hair slicked back in a perfect pompadour. I can feel the energy of the track pulsating through me as I cruise down the street, lost in the beat."

Tracking Dajai and Watts Homie Quan on "Outro" was a smooth session. I noticed that Dajai's delivery has great flow and cadence throughout the track, making it easy to follow along with his lyrics. The ad-libs he added in the chorus really add personality and character to the song.
In terms of production elements, I heard some nice doubles on the main vocal that helped beef up the sound and create a fuller mix. Additionally, the use of reverb on the background vocals really helped them sit in the mix without overwhelming the main tracks.
I think Dajai's approach to recording works technically because he was able to capture his performance with ease, while still being able to add those extra elements to enhance the overall sound of the track. The gear we used, including the Neumann U47 on the main vocal and the AKG C21 for the background vocals, really helped to capture the nuances of their performances. The use of a good quality condenser mic made a huge difference in terms of clarity and detail in the final mix.

As I sit here in the control room, watching the HBU cast and crew bring Dajai's "Outro" (feat. Watts Homie Quan) to life, I can't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration. The energy in the room is electric, with each member of the cast fully immersed in their performance.
One specific moment that caught my attention was when Dajai himself took the stage. His expression was intense and focused, completely absorbed in his performance. As he sang, you could see the passion and emotion pouring out of him, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere that left the entire room speechless.
In between takes, the cast members could be seen huddled together in the corner of the stage, discussing their performance and offering each other words of encouragement and support. The mood in the room was one of camaraderie and teamwork, as everyone worked together to create something truly special. Overall, it's been an incredible experience to document this shoot and witness firsthand the talent and dedication of the HBU cast and crew.
