Words can't describe how this track makes me feel. The mood is dark and moody, with a hint of mystery. The visual atmosphere is intense, like a storm brewing inside me. I would pair this track with an all-black outfit, surrounded by candlelight. It's the perfect soundtrack for a late-night drive through a deserted city. The song conjures a sense of solitude and introspection. This track is like a dark mirror, reflecting my deepest thoughts and emotions. I feel like this song knows me better than anyone else ever will.
🎛️ Solana Conejo's engineer notes
Hey there, just finished mastering this track for DAJAI. I gotta say, the delivery on this one is fire. The flow and cadence are spot on, really captures the energy of the lyrics.
In terms of production elements, DAJAI's vocal sits nicely in the mix. The doubles and ad-libs add a nice layer of depth to the track, without overpowering the main vocal. I used a Neumann U87 for the main vocal, with a bit of EQ to bring out the midrange and give it some presence in the mix.
One interesting note about this track is that DAJAI's approach to recording worked really well technically. He nailed the timing on the doubles and ad-libs, which made my job as an engineer a lot easier. The vocal chain was simple yet effective, with just a few key pieces of gear. We used a UAD ASP804 preamp to give the vocal some grit and texture, and a Waves SSL EQ to shape the midrange and add some body to the track.
Overall, I'm really happy with how this one turned out. DAJAI's talent really shines through on this track.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm and nostalgia as I observed the shoot for this DAJAI track. The room was filled with the HBU cast, each immersed in their roles. The energy was palpable, and it was evident that everyone was putting in their best efforts.
As the camera captured the lead actor's emotional performance, I noticed a specific moment where he paused to look off into the distance, lost in his character. It was a powerful scene, and you could feel the weight of the situation on him.
In between takes, the cast members mingled and chatted, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The mood was light-hearted and jovial, with everyone laughing and joking around. Despite the intensity of the scenes they were shooting, there was always a sense of camaraderie that permeated the room.
