🌸 Miko Melts's journal

Listening to this track by DJ AJA is a total mood for me. The atmosphere is dark and moody, with an edge of danger that makes my heart race. I can almost feel the city lights flashing around me as I chop up this track in Vegas. My outfit for this vibe would be a sleek black leather jacket, ripped jeans, and some badass sunglasses. The setting would be a dark club or bar, with neon lights glowing in the background. This song is all about living life on the edge, taking risks, and embracing danger. It's a total adrenaline rush, and I love every second of it.

🎛️ Solana Conejo's engineer notes

As an engineer, I've been working on DAJAI's latest track and I have to say, it's been a pleasure. One of the standout aspects of this track is the delivery and flow of his cadence, which is absolutely on point. The way he paces himself throughout the song is impressive, and really helps the lyrics stand out. In terms of production elements, I can hear that DAJAI has done some interesting doubling and ad-libbing in places, which adds a lot of depth to his vocal performance. The stacks are particularly effective, giving the track a big and dynamic feel. Technically speaking, DAJAI's approach works really well. He has a great sense of timing and pitch control, and his use of dynamics is spot on. The gear we used for this session was top-notch, with a Neumann U87 for the main vocal and an AKG C41 for some of the ad-libs. We also used a Warm Audio EQPWA-250 equalizer to add some grit to certain parts of the track, which really helps it stand out. Overall, I'm really happy with how this project turned out and can't wait to hear the final mix.

The room is alive with energy as the HBU cast members gather around the set, preparing for their next shot. The tension in the air is palpable as they wait for their cue. I can feel the anticipation building as the director gives final instructions before we begin rolling. As the track "Tweet: 4pm Las Vegas chopping shit at one of the spots" begins to play, the mood shifts from intense to lighthearted. The cast members start to loosen up, laughing and joking between takes. One specific moment that stands out is when the lead actor ad libs a funny line, causing everyone in the room to burst into laughter. Despite the chaos on set, there's an undeniable sense of camaraderie among the cast members. They're all in it together, working towards a common goal. It's moments like these that make the long hours and hard work worth it.
