Greetings fellow engineers! Today I had the pleasure of working on "To The Top" by Daj' and Young P. As I dove into the track, I was struck by the delivery and flow of the vocals. Both artists brought a strong sense of cadence to their performance, which really helped guide the listener through the song.
One thing that stood out to me was the use of doubles throughout the track. This added depth and dimension to Daj's voice, creating a more dynamic and engaging listening experience. Additionally, the ad-libs were strategically placed, adding an extra layer of interest and excitement to the song.
From a production standpoint, I was really impressed by the use of vocal stacks in this track. This technique helped to create a fuller, more robust sound for Daj's vocals, giving them a bigger presence in the mix. Overall, I'm really happy with how this track turned out and I'm excited to see where it goes from here!

As I sit in the corner of the room, observing the shoot for "To The Top" by Daj' and Young P, I can't help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement. The energy in the room is electric, with everyone on set focused intently on the task at hand.
The HBU cast is scattered throughout the scene, each person immersed in their own world as they prepare for their close-up shots. Some are holding scripts, while others are adjusting their costumes or makeup. The mood is one of concentration and determination, with everyone striving to create something truly special.
One specific moment that caught my attention was when the director called out for a particular shot. As the camera rolled, I noticed that some of the cast members were looking off into the distance, their expressions serious and focused. It was clear that they were putting their hearts and souls into this performance, and it was a reminder of the incredible talent and dedication that goes into creating a piece of art like this.
