As an engineer, I'm really excited to be working on DAJAI's track "Summer Madness ft. Kool & The Gang (PacmanDIzzle)." In terms of delivery and flow, DAJAI's cadence is impeccable, with a really strong sense of timing and rhythm throughout the track. His voice sits in the mix perfectly, with just the right amount of reverb to give it a spacious feel without losing any clarity.
From a production standpoint, there are some really interesting elements at play here. For example, DAJAI's vocal is doubled up in certain sections, which adds a lot of depth and dimension to the track. There are also some really cool ad-libs that he's added, which add a sense of spontaneity and energy to the overall sound.
In terms of gear, we used a Neumann U87 as the main vocal mic, which gave us a really rich and warm sound. We also used a DBX 160A for some subtle compression on the vocal, which helped to bring out the natural contours of DAJAI's voice without sacrificing any of its power or impact.
Overall, I think DAJAI's approach to this track is really effective from a technical standpoint.
