As an engineer, I am really impressed with the delivery and flow of DAJAI's track. His cadence is on point, and his voice sits perfectly in the mix. The production elements are also impressive - there are some nice doubles and ad-libs that add depth to the vocal.
From a technical standpoint, I was really impressed with how well the gear was used on this track. We used a Neumann U47 for the vocal recording, which is always a safe choice, but it worked perfectly here. The preamp we used, a Manley Massive Passive, also added some nice color to the recording.
