It’s a cool night and I’m feeling moody. The Dajai track is playing on my speakers, filling the room with its haunting melody. The visual atmosphere of the track transports me to an abandoned warehouse, where the only light source comes from a single neon sign. The aesthetic that this song conjures up in my mind is dark and gritty, reminiscent of the underground street art scene. I can almost see the graffiti tags on the walls, the broken glass scattered across the floor, and the overall grime and decay of the place. My outfit for tonight would be a black leather jacket, ripped jeans, and chunky boots - the perfect ensemble to match this edgy track.
🎛️ Solana Conejo's engineer notes
As I mix and master Dajai's track for "AI-Generated Video", I am struck by the delivery and flow of his vocals. The cadence is spot on, and he manages to convey a sense of emotion and urgency without resorting to overly dramatic inflections. His voice sits well in the mix, balanced nicely with the instrumental elements of the track.
From a production standpoint, Dajai's approach works technically for a few reasons. Firstly, he makes good use of doubles and ad-libs to add depth and interest to his performance. The stacks are also well executed, adding texture and complexity to the vocal.
The gear I used in the recording process played a significant role in achieving these results. For example, using a high-quality condenser microphone for capturing Dajai's vocals helped to bring out the nuances of his performance. The use of a well-designed preamp and EQ also allowed me to shape the vocal sound to fit the needs of the track. Overall, I am pleased with how this project has turned out and look forward to hearing it in its final form.

The day of the DAJAI video shoot was a flurry of activity backstage. The cast and crew were all busy preparing for their big performance. As I watched from just off-camera, I couldn't help but notice the nervous energy in the room. Everyone was focused and determined to make this video the best it could be.
One specific moment that caught my attention was when the director was giving final instructions to the cast before they went on camera. You could see the concentration and commitment in their faces as they listened intently to his words. It was clear that this was a team effort, and everyone was working together towards a common goal.
Despite the busy atmosphere, there was a sense of camaraderie and support among the cast and crew. They were all in this together, and it showed in their interactions with each other. Overall, it was an exciting and productive day on set, and I couldn't wait to see the final result of all their hard work.
